Farm Camp for children 4-9 years of age.

The joys of Farm Camp come from the deep immersion in the life of the farm; daily rhythms that give one a breathing in/breathing out, five days in a row, from 8:30 - 1:00. Days begin with circle time and songs, then break up into "chore groups". Chore groups participate in: animal husbandry, snack preparation, garden work, farm harvesting or picking and drying of berries, herbs and flowers for sun tea. After farm chores, the children share a nutritious snack "from the garden to the table." Then it's time for crafts, games, stories, lunch and before we know it, time to go home.

Our staff is well trained in environmental education, bringing a "sustainable model" to the young child.

Permaculture Camp for children 10-12 years of age.

This summer, we will weave together a rich curriculum that encompasses themes and lessons in sustainable living skills, the expressive arts, and cultural exploration.  The children will participate in organic gardening, cooking, composting, animal husbandry, herbal crafting, solar energy, storytelling, eco-art and much more.  As a part of the experience, campers will have fun caretaking our organic permaculture garden.
